AC Schnitzer has a new performance package for the BMW M6 coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe. In addition to engine upgrades, the tuning company adds suspension pieces, bodywork, interior bits and a choice of 20- or 21-inch wheels. Output is up from 560 hp to 620 hp, while torque grows to 582 lb-ft.
Before the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, Team Hot Wheels yellow driver and three-time X Games gold medalist Tanner Foust broke the world record for distance jump in a four-wheeled vehicle. Chrysler is recalling nearly 1,700 all-wheel-drive-equipped 2012 Jeep Patriot and 2012 Jeep Compass SUVs for a possible defect in the fuel system. In certain affected vehicles, a valve designed to prevent fuel leakage in the event of a rollover can leak. This is due to damage sustained in testing at the facility where they were manufactured.
